An IEU Chapter has won two significant changes through their Local Consultative Committee (LCC), helping to address workload pressures and boost staff collaboration.
Weekly in-person briefings at the secondary Brisbane Catholic school have been converted into podcasts that staff can listen to at their leisure and after-school meetings have been revamped to support collaboration.
IEU Delegate Karina said the changes came about after IEU members organised LCC surveys to collect feedback and suggestions on improving workflow.
“As a delegate, I was acutely aware of the additional workload these surveys might impose on staff,” Karina said.
