The position is based in Townsville; however, consideration may be given to location in Cairns.
An education background and recent experience in schools will be favourably considered.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
A salary package dependent on qualifications and relevant experience will be determined.

Applications are sought for a full-time, continuing experienced Industrial Services Officer.
Applicants are required to have a minimum of 3 – 4 years’ experience in industrial relations, law, or associated fields.
The duties of this position include:
- Providing specific advice and support to members relevant to an inquiry.
- Representing members in negotiations.
- Working in close collaboration on shared tasks/projects with Organisers and Industrial Officers
- Providing appropriate responses to individual and workplace issues.
The position is based in Brisbane.

CLERICAL OFFICER – LEVEL 4
CLERICAL AND EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Applications are sought for a full-time, continuing Level 4 Clerical Officer.
The role of the Clerical Officer – Clerical and Events and Activities, is to co-ordinate the events and activities of our Union with the support of the clerical team and specific Union Officers.
In this role you will also be required to work alongside clerical team members and undertake a range of clerical duties as required of a clerical officer.
The position is based in Brisbane.
Applicants should have practical experience with the Microsoft suite and competency in the use of electronic communications and administrative platforms.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
A salary package in the range $85K – $95K dependent on qualifications and experience will be determined.

The position of Clerical Officer – Level 3 at the IEU-QNT involves the provision of administrative support to designated Union Officers.
This administrative support underpins the work of our Union Officers and is essential to the daily operations of our organisation. Therefore, the position requires precise, efficient, and high-level administrative skills.
An IEU-QNT Clerical Officer is required to work as part of a dynamic team to action the tasks associated with the continuous workflow of our Union.
The position is based in Brisbane.
