25 November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which also marks the beginning of 16 days of action against gender-based violence.
IEU-QNT Assistant Secretary Nicole Kapernick said members were taking action to help create a world free from violence.
“Shamefully, gender-based violence remains endemic, with one in three women experiencing abuse in their lifetime,” she said.
“This year’s theme is #NoExcuse – Invest to prevent violence against women and girls.
