ABOUT THE BURSARY
Applications for the 2026 Teachers Health Future of Teaching Bursary are now open.
Established in 2020 as the TUH Future of Teaching Bursary, the Teachers Health Future of Teaching Bursary proudly continues the program’s legacy following the coming together of Teachers Health and TUH. It supports educators who are members of the IEU to realise their potential and create meaningful impact in the communities they live and work in. It reflects a shared commitment to the education community and the vital role educators play in helping it thrive.
We’re continually inspired by the stories of teachers turning challenges into opportunity and ideas into impact, strengthening classrooms, schools and communities through their innovation and care.
If you have a project you’re passionate about, we’d love to hear your story. Share what you’ve achieved and what you’re working towards for the chance to receive the 2026 Teachers Health Future of Teaching Bursary, valued at $5,000, and take the next step in bringing your idea to life.
Applications close 5pm, Friday 23 October.
The recipient will be announced and presented at the IEU-QNT Annual General Meeting on Friday, 13 November 2026.
