An IEU school officer member has successfully secured a pay increase after our union assisted them in applying for reclassification.
Organiser Nicole Lakidis said the member reached out for assistance from our union because they were concerned their position description was inaccurate and did not properly reflect their role.
“Our member believed their current classification level and pay rate were not commensurate with the skills and expertise they brought to the role and the duties and responsibilities were not properly reflected in the position description,” Nicole said.
