IEU principal members in the Rockhampton and Toowoomba Dioceses have won a 25-year battle to secure continuing employment.
IEU Branch Secretary Terry Burke said members had won a provision for the conversion from fixed-term contracts to continuing employment for all principals as part of their new collective agreements.
“This is a truly significant achievement for members,“ Mr Burke said.
