IEU members need to ensure they familiarise themselves with the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority’s (ACECQA) new National Model Code and Guidelines on taking photos in early childhood education and care.
The Code aims to help long day care centres, preschools and kindergartens better protect their children.
IEU Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Rebecca Sisson said the Code and its accompanying Guidelines were developed in response to the Review of Child Safety Arrangements under the National Quality Framework (NQF).
