Misconduct allegations dismissed with IEU advocacy

28 May, 2026

Support from our union’s industrial team has ensured procedural fairness for a member working in an early childhood setting.

IEU-QNT Industrial Officer Melanie Stellmacher said the member was subject to allegations of bullying.

“The member contacted our union concerned with the lack of details provided in the allegations, and we advised them to ask for more information,” she said.

“The employer provided some general information but would not provide details of the nature of the allegations.

“Our union then supported a member through a meeting with an employer representative.
