Our union has welcomed a House of Representatives Standing Committee on Employment, Education and Training report on the impact of generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in education.
IEUA Federal Secretary Brad Hayes said the publication of the federal government’s Study Buddy or Influencer report, after a 16-month parliamentary inquiry, was urgently needed to help guide the safe and ethical use of GenAI in classrooms.
