Training the next generation of teachers is a significant responsibility.

Attrition rates among early career teachers and ongoing issues with professional experiences (such as practicum, internships or Permission to Teach engagements) highlight the need to overhaul the current framework.

Our union held consultation sessions last year with Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers (HALTs) and beginning teachers (in their first five years).
