Kimberley College secures first collective agreement

19 August, 2025

IEU members at a Queensland independent school are celebrating after staff overwhelmingly voted to endorse the school’s first ever collective agreement.

The wage outcome secured by members provides a 3 per cent annual increase for each year of the three-year agreement, with a guarantee from the employer to match the Queensland state sector annual wage percentage increases if this outcome exceeds 3 per cent in any year of the agreement.
