IEU members employed at Annandale Christian College in Townsville will benefit from wage increases, enhanced superannuation and provisions to address workload as part of their replacement collective agreement.
Project Officer Paul Giles, who participated in negotiations on behalf of IEU members, said that of the 73 per cent of staff who voted at ballot, three quarters voted to accept the proposed agreement.
“There are some really positive outcomes for members achieved during this round of bargaining, so I congratulate IEU members on their solidarity, which was crucial to achieving those wins,” Paul said.
