20% wage increase for Coolum Beach Christian College staff

IEU-QNT members at Coolum Beach Christian College (CBCC) have secured a 20% wage increase alongside other key enhancements in their new collective agreement.

In addition to the pay rise over three years, key enhancements in the new agreement include:

  • An additional pay step at the top of the teacher classification scale to commence from 2027.
  • Three (3) hours of protected non-contact time for primary teachers.
  • A reduction in the notice period required of resigning non-teaching staff, from seven weeks to four weeks.
  • A $50 overnight camp allowance for non-teaching staff.
  • 10 days of paid spousal leave.
  • One day of special circumstances leave.
