IEU members working at The River School in Maleny have secured significant wage enhancements as part of their first collective agreement.
School staff had previously been employed under the Modern Award, which contains inferior wages and working conditions compared to union-negotiated collective agreements.
IEU Sunshine Coast Organiser Tahn Donaldson said members were to be commended on securing their first collective agreement.
