Reinstatement of discrimination exemptions for religious schools shameful and unjust

27 October, 2025

Our union has condemned the Northern Territory government’s reinstatement of the right for faith-based schools to discriminate against staff and students.

IEU-QNT Branch Secretary Terry Burke said reinstating the religious discrimination exemptions was shameful and unjust.
