Plans to protect workers from AI misuse welcomed

Our union has welcomed a raft of recommendations outlined in a new report by the Senate Select Committee on Adopting Artificial Intelligence.

The recommendations focus on protecting the rights of working people amidst widescale adoption of AI in a variety of workplaces.

IEU-QNT Branch Secretary Terry Burke said the implementation of AI and other new technologies in schools continued to be at the forefront of IEU members’ minds.
