Last year, the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board (NSSAB) released a new guideline for education programs in non-state schools, which specialist teacher members should be aware of.
The revised guideline was a recommendation arising from the Queensland Non-State Schools Accreditation Framework review, to which our union made submissions.
It clarifies the statutory requirements for a non-state school’s written educational program and offers a framework to assist schools in demonstrating compliance and ensuring the integrity of curriculum and learning outcomes for students is upheld.
