IEU members have welcomed the federal government’s Secure Jobs, Better Pay Bill as an important first step to fairer workplace laws.
IEU Federal Secretary Christine Cooper said these changes will make a difference to the wages and working lives of countless members and their families.
“School and early childhood education employees have been forced to work under unfair laws for decades,” Christine said.
