The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) Executive has passed a resolution committing to the success of the ‘Yes’ campaign at the upcoming referendum on the question of whether a First Nations Voice should be enshrined in the Australian Constitution.
ACTU Indigenous Officer Lara Watson welcomed the commitment and said the referendum is an historic opportunity for Australia to take a step towards reconciliation, one we cannot afford to miss.
