Sexual harassment is on the rise in Australian workplaces, according to new figures released by federal government agencies.
The Fair Work Commission has received 183 complaints of sexual harassment across 2024-2025, compared to 104 in 2023-2024 and 49 in 2022-2023.
Sexual harassment complaints to the Human Rights Commission (HRC) have also risen with the commission receiving 545 complaints in the 2025-2026 financial year, compared to 442 in 2024-2025 and 395 in 2023-2024.
