IEU welcomes federal Generative AI in education report

Our union has welcomed a House of Representatives Standing Committee on Employment, Education and Training report on the impact of generative AI (GenAI) in education following a 16-month parliamentary enquiry.

IEUA Federal Secretary Brad Hayes said our union welcomed the publication of the federal government’s Study Buddy or Influencer report, which was urgently needed to help guide the safe and ethical use of GenAI in classrooms.
