IEU responds to AITSL’s draft induction guidelines

The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) released draft guidelines for induction of early career teachers and new school leaders.

The release of the respective guidelines fulfils key action 14 of the National Teacher Workforce Action Plan (NTWAP), approved by Education Ministers last year.

IEU Federal Secretary Brad Hayes said our union’s federal office provided feedback on the guidelines during the consultation phase, which ran until 11 August.
