Rep profile: Pi Lee – St Phillip’s College, Alice Springs

7 December, 2022

Recently elected to our union’s Branch Executive as well as taking up the IEU Rep position at her school, Pi Lee is no stranger to advocacy, leadership and making a difference.

Described by her year 10 students as “positive, patient, empowering and hardworking”, Pi is a teacher and counsellor based in Arrernte Country (Alice Springs), the red heart of Australia.

“I try to establish myself as the type of teacher I wish I’d had,” she said.

“I’m a passionate advocate for social inclusion and love working in diverse spaces to support the voices of young people and create meaningful change.

“This is what led me to become actively involved in our union as a regional and territory representative,” she said.
