Our union is seeking IEU members employed in Queensland Lutheran schools to be part of upcoming Joint Working Parties (JWPs).
The JWPs are committees comprising employer representatives and employee representatives (IEU members) who will collaborate to undertake a review.
Under the current Queensland Lutheran schools collective agreement, IEU members achieved provisions for a review of:
- The wages schedule for Teachers with Positions of Added Responsibility (PARs); and
- The classification structure for School Officers (non-teaching staff).
These reviews will be conducted by two separate JWPs, with one to focus on PARs and the other on School Officers.
The JWPs are an important opportunity to have your voice heard by your employer and improve your wages and working conditions ahead of your current agreement expiring.
