The significant workload and work intensification caused by the NCCD as well as subsequent stress for members, is the focus of a new IEU survey.
IEU-QNT Branch Secretary Terry Burke said our union is seeking to identify specific issues of implementation and ways these may be addressed.
“Employers generally claim to be aware of the workload created by NCCD processes; however, members continue to experience the workload demands of those processes,” Mr Burke said.
“To confront employers with the reality of the workload being experienced we need objective and accurate information to present and point out the interventions that must made.
“Each IEU School Chapter is strongly encouraged to participate by collectively completing an online survey of the NCCD process at their school,” he said.
