Our union has joined a coalition of 70 organisations supporting a Voice to Parliament for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
The unlikely alliance of unions, schools and universities, not-for-profits, banks, sporting code bodies and corporations has released a statement of support ahead of a national vote on the Voice later this year.
“We come from a diverse range of sectors and work in every state and territory across this continent,” the joint statement reads.
“We have been on the journey of reconciliation for many years.
