The Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) is undertaking consultation with key stakeholders about its process for transitioning from provisional to full registration policy.
IEU-QNT Research Officer Dr Adele Schmidt said our union encouraged members to take part and make sure the policy reflects the voices and experiences of practicing teachers.
“We support the school-based process of transitioning from provisional to fully-registered teaching; however, we know there are many variations between schools and those experiences should be heard,” Adele said.
