IEU-QNT Cairns Branch Meeting

Come and join your local Organiser, Patrick Meikle, and FNQ Branch Representative Barbara Dewis for a brief roundup on what is happening in Cairns schools and the across wider FNQ Branch. 

We will also discuss the new Delegates Rights provisions under the Fair Work Act and how Chapter Executive members (Delegates) can use these rights effectively to deal with school based issues, such as workloads, work intensification, staff meetings, hours of duty, and more.

The Branch Meeting will start at 5:00pm on Thursday, 28 November at Whiskey & Wine, Flynn Level 2, 85 The Esplanade Cairns. You are most welcome to join us for dinner after the meeting, where we can discuss any other matters you may wish to raise. We plan on ordering dinner at 6:30pm and anticipate the evening to conclude by 8:00pm (we know you may have to be at work bright and early the next day)
