A Queensland Catholic school employing authority has come to our union’s attention for their repeated attempts to reduce the work hours of part-time continuing staff by issuing new contracts.
IEU Industrial Services Officer Melanie Stellmacher said members should be aware existing part-time continuing staff are under no obligation to sign a new contract that alters the existing contractual obligations.
