Unions and employer groups have reached consensus on skills and training reform ahead of the landmark Jobs Summit later this week.
The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU), Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Ai Group and the Business Council of Australia (BCA) have released a Statement of Common Interests on Skills and Training.
The groups agree Australia must tackle today’s workforce and skills shortages by reforming the system to the mutual benefit of learners, employers, employees and the Australian society and economy at large.
