BOLD activists unite for change

24 August, 2021

IEU women activists united online last week (Thursday, 19 August 2021) for our union’s Be BOLD For Change conference.

Connecting members from across Queensland and the Northern Territory, the conference was an important opportunity for members to talk, learn and reflect on the workplace issues that matter most to women.

The keynote address was delivered by workplace wellbeing expert Thea O’Connor, focussing on women’s reproductive health in the workplace.

Thea highlighted that many women struggle to balance their working lives with health conditions such as menopause, perimenopause or reproductive health concerns and that there is much more that can be done to support employees facing these issues.
