Australians have voted for change

23 May, 2022

A new government brings new opportunities to achieve the real change our members have been calling for, writes IEU-QNT Branch Secretary Terry Burke.

While the election is over, our union’s advocacy continues and we are ready to be part of change.

We are ready to make a difference to:

  1. An agenda of respect and equality for working women.
  2. A First Nations voice to Parliament.
  3. Fixing the broken bargaining system and restoring fairness.
  4. Ensuring the voice of our profession is heard.
