In an outrageous instance of fixed-term contract misuse, our union has been made aware of a Northern Territory Catholic employer hiring school officers on contracts which are described as being just 14 days in length.
IEU members raised the issue with our union after several Inclusion Support Assistants (ISA) were offered contracts which purported to terminate their employment engagement after each two-week work period.
